BLESSED HUH?!

 I heard you graduated with honors and that  you were  the first graduate in your village.. Congratulations.. That was no mean fete. Now you have the powers to read.. Use them well.. 

I saw your updates on LinkedIn you say you got a new job in company X.The company says  your star is shining so bright, they wonder where you have been all this while. .. By the way the LinkedIn guys asked me if I wanted to say congratulations on your job but I ignored coz there were too many such updates.. Sorry, but congratulations all the same. 

 I saw the Cube Movers at your rented house and I was informed that you were moving  closer to the places of affluence that befit people of your earning. Congratulations. I am happy for you.

 

My news feed on Facebook said you and sister S or was it brother B are now in a relationship. I was so happy for you. I liked, I hope you saw that I did. Zuckerberg also told me it was your birthday so I called and with my croaking voice, sang you a happy birthday song .Sorry that's the least I could do.. I hope you appreciated it all the same. 

 I saw you dumped Footsubishi for a Mitsubishi or what car was that again? I am not so good with cars you know.. Wow that was awesome I will hitch  a ride soon.

 I heard you started a church and followers are flocking it. the herd is increasing by the day. That is good. Keep the gospel authentic. Don't be greedy for money. Continue to preach the true gospel and God will keep his children thirsty for his word like the deer. 

How could I forget I was part of the people that arranged for your bridal and baby showers.. It was great to see you so surprised. I am looking forward for the next available opportunity to surprise.. I promise it will be more thorough.

 

 So you think you are blessed huh?! Seems like God has looked your way and literally smiled on you.. I see you are so excited about what God has done. It is wonderful in your eyes.. I thought I should  let you know that This is just the beginning.. Hiki ni kionjo tu.. I know you are blessed but there is still so much more God has in store. The same God who could give you a job, a house, a flock, a child is the very same God who can supply the other of your needs according to His riches in glory. 

 A word of caution or should I say my sisterly advice: As the Lord increases you may you remain as humble and may His blessings not serve as the barrier between you and Him. May the blessings that God brings your way draw you closer to God and cause you to burst in thanksgiving and worship of Him who is the giver of all things.. 

 

By the way that was the secret of the great men and women in the Bible. The likes of Hannah, David, with every victory they thanked, praised and worshipped the Lord. No wonder the Lord kept blessing them the more. No wonder Hannah's prayer for a child was answered with five children:-) Now that you have tasted if the Lord and seen that He is Good, remain in Him. Only a fool bites the hand that feeds him
